This is the text of our READMEFIRST.txt file, for your reference, which is included with every installation of our upcoming Remek! v4.20. Spend a few minutes to read some crucial information below.

Welcome to the Remek! INSTALLER v4.20!

  • ALWAYS KEEP A BACKUP COPY OF THE INSTALLATION FILE!

  • This installation file will copy the files needed for our three strategies (PRO STR, BT, BTX) and our 9 Essential Indicators into the appropriate folders under Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Remek!

  • Read what's new at https://www.remek.ca/version-tracking

  • To simplify installation, all necessary strategy and indicator files are now in one file: Remek_420.zip.

  • All necessary template workspace files are copied in the relevant template folders under Documents/Ninjatrader 8/...

  • Make sure you install your Remek! software onto an error-free, well-maintained Ninjatrader 8, preferably the latest release. Follow best practices as you maintain your Ninjatrader 8 and your Windows environment (read our materials on Ninjatrader 8 and on Windows in our blog and in our Forum).

  • Be aware that Microsoft's OneDrive (which is installed by default and with Microsoft's preferred default settings on every Windows computer today), can cause problems for Ninjatrader. (This is not Ninjatrader's fault, but rather the somewhat careless design of OneDrive.) Make sure you are informed of this issue. We provide crucial, no-obligation information as a courtesy in our Forum (search the NT8 thread).

  • Always stay up to date about NT8 in our blog as well as Ninjatrader's own support forum.

  • For detailed information on the Remek! Momentum Pro Standalones and the Remek! Essential Indicators 9-pack, please refer to our Documentation.
