A Torontonian since his youth, Ferenc brings his decade-long banking software project experience to Remek. After years as a fundamental analyst for large private investors in Hungary during the Nasdaq craze (those were the days!), he started trading and designing his own algorithmic trading strategies in 2005. Over the years, he has developed his unique hands-on expertise in evidence-based, algorithmic, technically motivated directional trading with a sharp focus on human behavioural patterns as triggered by participation on the financial markets. To help traders and investors worldwide, he’s been publishing his daily market analyses for Remek! Premium subscribers since 2019.

A soccer, tennis, piano and coffee addict, Ferenc holds an MBA and an MSc in IT from Central European University as well as a teaching degree from the University of Toronto.

As Visiting Lecturer at Central European University between 2016-22, Ferenc taught Financial Trading Design and Technology in the Master of Science in Business Analytics and the Master of Science in Finance programs. His research interests include the study of crowd behaviour as it applies to financial markets, and the development of world-class trading strategies for retail traders. He publishes in the Remek! blog and Forum, and supports worthy causes in his old country. Ferenc lives in New Brunswick and Toronto, with frequent visits to his native Hungary.
