Note: Following best practices in your computer environment is solely your responsibility. Always have a backup of your data, including any current or previous Remek! files or products that you may want to have a copy of. It’s good practise to back up your whole NT8 folder into a separate folder, e.g. Documents/Ninjatrader 8 Backup before you start any update process. That way you'll have a copy of every file in your NT8 folder if anything goes wrong. Then proceed with the steps below.

Also, it is crucial that you retain a copy of your Remek! install file, in case you need to reinstall your product at a later time. All issued licenses are perpetual, but to ensure compatilibity with NT8, we only make available for re-download the latest version of our software.

Installing Remek! Momentum Pro Standalones (PRO STR, BT, BTX)

1. Close NT8

2. Save your downloaded *.msi file in a folder of your choice. Always retain a copy of this file.

3. Uninstall any previous version of The Standalones/PRO STR/BT/BTX from the Windows Control Panel.

4. Open NT8, go to NT8 Control Center > Tools > Remove Ninjascript Assembly and remove any previous versions of any Remek! indicator(s) that were part of previous Standalone product(s). Exit NT8.

5. Double-click on the downloaded *.msi file to run it. This will copy all files in the appropriate folders.

6. Open NT8 and import the indicator (*.zip) files of your product in Documents > Ninjatrader 8 > bin > Custom > _Remek! > “product name” into NT8.

7. Generate your Machine ID and email it to support@remek.ca to have your license activated.

8. Restart NT8 and open the Remek! Momentum PRO STR, BT or BTX workspace. Apply the strategy (right-click on chart) corresponding to the workspace you have open to the chart of your choice.
