Section 1

Data Series/Setup are NT8 functions and define the instrument/timeframe, the account and certain other fundamental aspects of how the indicator/strategy runs.

Section 2

Chart Label/Alert Message are messages displayed by the indicator/strategy in the upper left corner.

Section 3

Strategy Buttons: these settings define how the strategy buttons look. (RM Pro indicator, being an indicator, does NOT have a strategy button. BTX also does NOT have a strategy button in order to allow backtesting/optimizing in LONG/SHORT/AUTO modes separately.)

Section 4

Strategy Options define characteristics of the strategy’s operation.

 Section 5

Display Options define how the chart looks, what is visible and what is not. Note that these settings do NOT have an effect on the math performed by the algorithm.
