A native of Budapest and a Torontonian for 35 years, Ferenc has been trading the financial markets and designing trading strategies since 2008. Bull markets and bear markets, gold crazes and meltdowns, rallies and flash crashes: during the past more than a decade, he has seen and done it all. Along the way, he has developed his unique hands-on expertise in technically motivated directional trading on various timeframes and asset classes. As an educator, his research interests include the role of intuition in successful trading. He writes on various subjects regularly in the Remek! blog.
He holds an MBA and an MSc in IT from Central European University and a teaching degree from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts.
Ferenc is Visiting Lecturer at Central European University (a US graduate school with campuses in Vienna and Budapest), where he teaches Financial Trading Design and Technology in the Master of Science in Business Analytics and the Master of Science in Finance programs.
